Nobody should have to go through the HASSLE and FRUSTRATION of poor customer service when they are investing money into window treatments to beautify their home.
I just met with a new client recently, and it made me so MAD to hear what she went through last year with a national name-brand company. She had to go through so many hoops just to get her window treatments and it WASN’T EVEN DONE RIGHT!
The project was started in April and by November; there was still nothing to show for it! She kept following up and gave them another chance and by the end of January they finally put something “finished” up. Her fabric was all mixed up for the different rooms and the finished product (when even shown) was of horrible workmanship. She was completely dissatisfied by the quality of her window treatments, and the company’s poor communications with her AND between their subcontractors and installers.

Here is one example of the end result of how the job was installed. When she realized that the tieback was interfering with the functional operation of her shades and complained to the company about it, this was their solution! Custom window treatments should look seamlessly integrated into your home – not tacked together with a few hunks of spare wood!
To make matters worse, her designer (a super nice person, but obviously very inexperienced in custom window treatments specialty) was leaving the firm just about that time. She was so nice to give them chance after chance to correct the mistakes but her patience had to end sometime.
My new client finally threw in the towel and had them remove everything. It was so disappointing to hear about how terrible her experience was, and even more unfortunate that the end result was completely wrong! She found me through a mutual friend and I am confident that she will get the help every step of the way. It’s about time she experienced the simple pleasure of having her window treatments done RIGHT, the FIRST TIME, without all the hassles.
